No. It is illegal in the state of California to tattoo a minor even with parental consent.

Yes! You must have consent from a parent or legal guardian. The parent must be present and both the parent and minor must have a photo ID. If the ID does not include the minors picture, name, and birthdate (such as a school ID) then a birth certificate is required as well. If the parent and minor do not have matching last names, additional documentation such as a marriage certificate.
There is no age restriction legally, however the minor must be able to consent to the piercing and be able to follow aftercare instructions. The piercing must be age appropriate.

Yes, typically, you are welcome to bring someone with you to your tattoo appointment. It is always a good idea to double check with your artist beforehand. Please keep it to a minimum of 1-2 people, unless you are all getting tattooed.

Usually, it is fine to bring your child with to a consultation appointment. However, children are not allowed in the procedure area, so please make arrangements for them to be elsewhere during your tattoo. We love kids, many of the artist here are parents but unfortunately they can be a distraction. At worst it can be dangerous for the child and/or clients.
